Hey Sunshine!

I’m so glad you’re here! Sharing stories I love, with people I love, brings me so much joy! I wanted a space to write down all my thoughts as I peruse prose, poetry, and all the pieces in between. Since becoming a mom, I've loved exploring kid’s books with my Little, and I'm sharing our favorites here too.

Let’s swap stories

    Booked: February

I write and sort book reviews in the order I read them—like a little time capsule of my literary adventures. And because I can’t resist a good organizing project, I’m also working on a genre archive to make it easier to search. You can find last month’s reads here.

Forest Bath Right Down This Path is an important reminder of the power or presence. To take a forest bath is to feel the bark, collect leaves, hear the birds and critters, and become immersed in the world around us. This story is also a reminder that our kids need us, to hear and explore alongside them.

Braiding Sweetgrass was the most enchanting book I have read in months. The reflections on reciprocity, gratitude, and our relationship with the natural world, inspire a deeper sense of stewardship and wonder. This book is a gentle reminder of the caregivers we are called to be.
